E-cert is a comprehensive quality assurance system for fruit and vegetables, with quality controls and full traceability at every stage from the field to the shelf. With the support of MODUS DCS, which is scientifically responsible for the system, we implement a private safety protocol in the production of Cretan fruits and vegetables that we supply and offer to you in our stores' produce sections.
We work with each of our producers, conducting regular and comprehensive checks on their fields, crops, facilities, crop records, water, soil, and harvest. When they plant, when they harvest, and what they produce, with regular checks, laboratory analyses, and confirmation for each of our deliveries.
A total of 213 producers are enrolled in the program with 4,563 agricultural parcels.
With full traceability from sowing and harvesting to daily delivery to our facilities, we are confident in the quality of our fruit and vegetables.
