The present terms regulate the use of the “Xtra Card” (hereinafter referred to as the “Card”) which is issued within the framework of the loyalty program (hereinafter referred to as the “Program”) of the company “Xalkiadakis S.A.” (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”).
The Card holder enjoys the benefits defined according to the Company’s commercial policy as a reward for the regular use of the Card when making purchases at the Company’s stores. These benefits are granted in accordance with the Company’s current commercial policy, which reserves the right to unilaterally modify the reward method, the participation conditions, and the level of rewards granted for purchases.
“Points” may be redeemed in future purchases at the Company’s stores and under no circumstances may they be exchanged for cash. After any redemption of “points”, the customer retains no existing or future claim against the Company.
The Card may be replaced in the event of loss, theft, or destruction at any store of the Company.
Participants in the Program must notify the Company of any change to the information they have declared, either by telephone or in writing. Until such notification is made, any communication sent to the previously declared address shall be considered valid.
The Company reserves the right to regularly inform the Card holder about benefits and promotional activities via electronic mail, mobile phone message (SMS), or any other appropriate means. If the Card holder no longer wishes to receive promotional or informational material, they may notify the Company through a written request.
The Company bears no responsibility for any failure or improper fulfillment of obligations by cooperating businesses participating in the Program, nor for any defect or damage that may be caused to the Member or any third party from services or products provided by such cooperating businesses.
The Program is addressed to, and the membership Card is issued exclusively to, natural persons who have completed the 18th year of age and possess full legal capacity.
The completion of the mandatory fields in the relevant application constitutes a contractual obligation and a necessary prerequisite for participation in the Program and use of the Card. Otherwise, the execution and objectives of the Program become impossible. These objectives include the provision of benefits, participation in prize draws, personalized offers and updates, analysis of consumer behavior, promotional activities, and analysis of purchasing trends.
Each Member may hold only one Card. In the event that two or more Cards are issued to the same person, all of them will be canceled. Only one of them may remain active at the sole discretion of the Company.
The Card holder is solely responsible for the use of the Card, and the Company bears no responsibility in case of loss, theft, or unauthorized use.
By using the Card, the holder automatically participates in the current draws/competitions.
The membership Card is neither a credit nor a debit card. By presenting it, the holder cannot conduct monetary transactions but may only enjoy benefits which will be defined and communicated by the Company either orally or in writing. The number of points and the right to discounts cannot be converted into cash.
If the Member has not completed the registration process, they will not be able to enjoy the benefits of the Card. Completed registration is defined as the submission of the application with all fields marked as “mandatory” properly filled.
The Company is under no obligation to verify the identity or authorization of the person presenting the Card during the collection or redemption of points.
The Company complies with the applicable legislation (EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679) and has taken all necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of your personal data and to prevent any unauthorized access, use, or modification of such data. In order to ensure continuous protection of your data, security measures are regularly monitored and adjusted according to needs and technological developments.
Participants in the Program consent to the processing of the personal data they voluntarily provide in the context of their participation in the Program and acknowledge that they have been informed of the following:
The personal data collected through the completion and submission of the Program participation application include the following:
full name, father’s and mother’s name, occupation, address, telephone number and fax number, electronic mail address (e-mail), date of birth of the holder and their children, products purchased, frequency of visits to the Company’s stores, duration of participation in the Program, participation in promotional activities, and the number and value of transactions.
Personal data are retained for as long as the Card remains active. In case the Card is cancelled, the data are deleted. By exception, they may be retained if there is a legitimate interest of the Company, consent of the Card holder, or a legal obligation of the Company, and only for as long as at least one of the above conditions is fulfilled.
The Company, as the Data Controller, will maintain records and process the Member’s personal data for as long as necessary to provide better service to the Member, in order to improve the management of its customer base and promote its products.
Such data are not disclosed or transferred to third parties, except to those who have been assigned by the Company to process data on its behalf for the purposes mentioned above, provided that they have ensured that such processing complies with the applicable legal framework and have committed to maintaining confidentiality and complying with the privacy policy.
Participants in the Program have the right to withdraw their consent, correct their personal data, or request their deletion by notifying the Company’s Data Protection Officer, Nikolaos Papadantonakis, by mail to Xalkiadakis S.A., 1st km Gazion–Krousonas Provincial Road, Postal Code 71005, or electronically at dpo@xalkiadakis.gr.
For any matter not explicitly regulated in these terms regarding personal data, the Company’s Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use of the website (https://www.xalkiadakis.gr) shall apply as in force from time to time.
The Card holder may request the cancellation of the Card at any time by contacting any Company store.
The Company reserves the right to terminate this agreement with the Card holder at any time, without prior notice or justification, or to prohibit any use of the Card, especially if there are indications that the Card is being used in violation of the purposes for which it was issued.
Any cancellation or modification of the Program will be communicated to the Card holder either through the contact details provided by the holder, through an announcement on the Company’s website (https://www.xalkiadakis.gr), or through any other appropriate means at the Company’s discretion.
