The electronic prepaid card (Prepaid Card Xalkiadakis) is the new easy way to do your shopping.

It mainly concerns companies and legal entities that want to allocate an amount, in addition to the salary, to their employees. It can also be used by individuals as a gift to someone or for the permanent support of a fellow human being (e.g., children who want to support elderly parents who live far away, parents who want to support their children who are students in Crete, fellow citizens who want to help financially disadvantaged fellow citizens).

The cards are not registered, have no expiration date, and have a unique barcode. Based on each card's barcode, the company (or individual) informs us and the card is "loaded" with the desired amount per card. Each time the cardholder visits one of our stores, they can pay part or all of their bill (depending on the balance on their card) using their Prepaid card.

Cardholders can use their cards at Xalkiadakis store checkouts or at the xalkiadakis.gr online store, either by presenting the physical card or through the Xalkiadakis App. In other words, the cardholder can download the Xalkiadakis App, connect to the Xtra Card Xalkiadakis, and then add their Prepaid card to the prepaid cards tab. This way, they can use it exclusively with their mobile phone, without the physical presence of the card being necessary. Cardholders can also immediately view their card balance at any Chalkiadakis store or online via the Xalkiadakis App.

Prepaid cards can be used at all Xalkiadakis Super Market stores, as well as at Happy Home Xalkiadakis.

Food allowances are intended exclusively for food and other living expenses. The provision of financial products or financial services, such as Paysafe cards, is not permitted. (Law 5006/2022, Article 43)
